Keeping Up with the Kids

It can be hard keeping up with the kids when we’re so far away, and we have to imagine the ins and outs of their daily life. During visits we spend as much time together as we can, eating together, playing together, and drawing together. Every time we visit the Home, the children give us a stack of pictures and letters on our final evening together. It’s a way for them to say thank you, and express themselves despite the language barrier. A couple of weeks ago we got a surprise batch of virtual pictures and letters from the kids! We’re so happy to see them growing and flourishing, and know that they think of us too.
